Our panel
Gabriela Volpato, Product Manager, WattTime / Climate TRACE
The global coalition harnesses remote sensing and software intelligence to monitor human-caused GHG emissions in near real time, bringing transparency and accessibility to global emissions. Climate TRACE was co-founded by WattTime and a coalition of nine other non-profits. is an environmental tech nonprofit that develops data-driven tools and policies, including Automated Emissions Reduction software that allows buildings and IoT devices like smart thermostats and electric vehicles to run on cleaner energy.
Gabriela Volpato is a Product Manager at WattTime who manages coalition data products for Climate TRACE. Gabriela works closely with all Climate TRACE coalition members to deliver actionable data to make global carbon emissions available to the public. She has extensive experience in carbon emissions modeling and identifying opportunities for improvements.
Riaz Jahangir, Engineering Manager, NCX
(Natural Capital Exchange) is a forest carbon marketplace, reimagined. Drawing on precision forest management and data powered by Microsoft AI and remote-sensing, NCX enables net-zero leaders to purchase carbon credits with immediate, verifiable impact. The NCX forest carbon marketplace includes landowners and forests that were previously left out of the climate solution by streamlining setup costs and verification of carbon credits.
Riaz manages the platform that connects landowners with companies leading the way to a net-zero future. With 20 years of experience designing, building, and maintaining client-facing applications, Riaz came to climate tech from the financial risk space and seeks to use data and technology solutions to make climate action easier and more accessible to all.
Rahul Misra, Head of Carbon Product and Operations, CarbonCure
creates carbon removal technologies that introduce recycled CO? into fresh concrete to reduce its carbon footprint, without compromising performance. Once injected, the CO? undergoes a mineralization process and becomes permanently embedded in the concrete. This results in economic and climate benefits for concrete producers and those building with concrete.
Rahul works to commercialize and scale early technologies and pivoted to focus on climate solutions after witnessing increasing devastation from wildfires in California. Rahul leads operations and strategy on CarbonCure’s carbon finance team and carbon credit program, including revenue operations, credit supply, customer success, and reporting and verification.
